How I spent my spring break
Every kid in my classroom enjoyed their most desired spring break!…more or less.Well I’ll be straightforward:mine was fantastic!
I,for the 1st time(within a group) visited London with a part of my classmates.Since we peeped at so many sights,I’ll just name only those that I liked. The view from London’s eye above 150 meters high from the ground was astonishing! It seemed like the whole city turned dramatically into an ant farm!Luckily I managed to shoot a lot of pictures.Next, there we were in front of Westminster Cathedral.Due to its gothic, yet scarry appearance it is somehow an enchanting landscape and we saw the grave of the unknown soldier.
The other they we were making our way through endless crowds at Madame Taussaud’s.However after I bought myself an Oscar I continued my route alone.I was really stunning and the wax figures’ details were perfectly made!In the end I found out that the whole group was spread, but we reunited at the souvenirs shop.I’d have bought some V.I.P dolls, for they were not headless….
The National British Museum was way too big!In a good way! After childishly staring at Tutankamon’s tomb I started my journey to the Korean and Japanese exhibitions!Fat-chance!I was strolling around astray rooms(on the map they say it’s 66-67 but in reality it’s like 43-69) and against my will I surprinsingly found myself in the Chinese room….pretty art they got ….there…I believe their ancestors were better than the present succesors, since their work is still unbreakable after thousands of years.
In the end I poped up in the souvenirs shop and bough myself a ‘’Runes’’ book,a mini Zen garden kit and a mini bonsai kit, and there I thought it was for those who already own a bonsai, not to grow my own miniatural tree…again! They should’ve called it ‘’Grow your mini bonsai kit!’’I mean, besides it has a really useful guide book and bonsai seeds and a pot+soil, the only tool I got is a mini scissors, which isn’t more effective than a rusty old one!But the shock disappeared when I looked on the box and it was written:Made in China.
I was almost going to forget! From the Science Museum I bought the ultimate straw drinking glasses! The dream of any gamer to be able to drink and play at the same time! Now my ease level increased! On our last day there,we went shopping.Lucky me I got 2 cousins there(but only the adult one showed up and supported me with some money, while that idle one was sleeping because he ‘’had a tiring high school day’’or so he claimed….better he didn’t show his face,if he did we would’ve probably fought like a cat and dog)and together we bought a lof of clothes!
And when I was finally like a dog with 2 tails reality striked my fancy! It was time to say bye-bye to London and greet Bucharest.
